How We Invest
At Globespan, we invest in information technology, internet and mobile communications companies that we know exceptionally well through our years of operational, technical and investment experience. As founders of technology start-ups ourselves, we know first-hand how valuable the investor relationship can be for building a successful business. As investors, we work collaboratively with inspired entrepreneurs to create value in four sectors of the information technology marketplace:
Systems and Peripherals
Globespan invests primarily in 'go-to-market' rounds of information technology, internet and mobile communications companies. We lead the financings in which we participate and serve on the boards of companies where we have invested. We also build strong investment syndicates with other leading venture capitalists.
Our commitment to fund a company marks the beginning of a long term relationship. At Globespan, we operate as a team with our entrepreneurs and put all of the firm’s collective expertise and resources to work for the benefit of each of our portfolio companies. Our extensive network around the world enables us to tap into a wide range of strategic opportunities on behalf of our entrepreneurs.
