Flora Wu
Flora Wu, an Associate at Globespan, joined the investment team in June of 2011. Her focus is to help entrepreneurs build companies that leverage cutting edge technology across traditional industries.
Prior to Globespan, Flora held operating roles at ZocDoc, where she managed marketing efforts to drive user engagement and brand awareness. She also worked as a consultant for McKinsey & Company, where she designed and implemented operational restructurings, led innovative approaches to strategy design, and developed acquisition screen criteria to analyze targets for a high-tech merger. In addition to these experiences at a start-up and McKinsey, Flora worked as a summer analyst at Goldman Sachs in Global Investment Research.
Flora graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with an A.B. in economics and a certificate in finance. As a recipient of the Martin A. Dale '53 Summer Award, she studied quilt art in Gee's Bend, Alabama. During her time at Princeton, Flora also organized the Promise of Socially Responsible Investing Conference with the Danish Ministry of Economic and Business Affairs and the Bendheim Center for Finance. Flora lives in Boston and enjoys cycling, contemporary art, and traveling with her DSLR camera.
