As an Associate at Globespan, Yev supports deal sourcing, evaluation of investment opportunities, due diligence, and Asian business development. Based in Palo Alto, Yev brings expertise in strategic analysis and a passion for technology to help the firm's entrepreneurs succeed.
Prior to joining Globespan, Yev was a Business Analyst at McKinsey & Co., where he worked with leading technology companies in the semiconductor, telecommunications and consumer electronics industries. While at McKinsey, Yev focused on strategy for new market entry, revenue growth, and product development.
Yev held Analyst roles with two major financial institutions before joining McKinsey. For an online marketing group of Wells Fargo, he conducted analysis to streamline the lead generation process and to evaluate overall campaign effectiveness. Then, at Capital One, Yev analyzed and benchmarked operational processes. Yev appreciates that working as a team is critical to the success of any project - "tapping the broad experience of the entire group and contributing significantly as individuals."
Yev earned both Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University. This Stanford President Scholar grew up in Los Angeles, California, and was born in Kiev, Ukraine.
Today, Yev enjoys tennis and basketball and has a particular interest in travel. He has visited nearly 20 countries and 30 of the U.S. states. Yev's appreciation for cultural differences gives him a "powerful perspective for evaluating opportunities and solving problems." |
